Sundowners is a common for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Our competent staff understands the importance of redirection and living within our client’s reality. These subtle techniques can reduce various behaviors correlated with Alzheimer’s.
Monarch Senior Solutions can serve a variety of therapeutic meals including “brain healthy” meals. For a nominal fee, we can even provide a set of blue plates to serve the meals on as studies show that contrasting plates can prompt the food to be better viewed and increase consumption.
When your loved one with dementia is at home, but you just need a little break, we are here to help. We know that it is difficult to take care of a family member if you are not taking care of yourself. Whether it is a couple hours or a couple of days, we can help give you some “you time” to refresh and re-energize to continue the labor of love being a caregiver.
